What is the difference between class A, B & C soils?

What is the difference between class A, B & C soils?

Although A, B and C ratings are not used as much as in the past, the general PI rating for the various soil class would be: PI of 133-147 Class A, PI of 118-132 Class B, and PI of 100-117 Class C.
